Tomlinson Hall takes the stage at BASME Conference

Business advice, tips and export trips were on the agenda recently, when Liquivac’s manufacturer, Tomlinson Hall, delivered a presentation at the BASME Annual Conference 2015.

Tomlinson Hall’s Managing Director Tony Keville and Business Development Director, Colin Simpson, gave delegates an insight into Tomlinson Hall’s past, present and future at the event, which was held at Hardwick Hall in County Durham, England, in November.

BASME – The Business Acceleration for SMEs (BASME) project – funded by a Regional Growth Fund (RGF) grant of £1.5 million, was set up to help grow North East SMEs by increasing their sales to the process industries. The project is run by the North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC), of which Tomlinson Hall is a member.

Tony and Colin presented to delegates from across the process industry and spoke about the company’s experiences in the pump sector, Tomlinson Hall’s support for NEPIC and BASME, our success in both regional and national awards, recent developments – including the relaunch of the Liquivac pump – and how we have addressed business challenges over the past decade.

Colin Simpson said: “We are proud to be part of the BASME programme and to have had a long-standing and highly productive relationship with NEPIC, so we were delighted to have been invited to present at the conference.

“It was fantastic to have had the opportunity to share our experiences with other businesses and engage with so many innovative companies on the day.”

Tomlinson Hall is the current holder of the NEPIC SME of the Year Award.
